OPTIMUS SOLUTIONS’ RANKED #241 AMONG TOP TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS PROVIDERS BY VARBUSINESS MAGAZINE

5TH APPEARANCE ON PRESTIGIOUS LIST

NORCROSS, GEORGIA – July 11, 2006 - Optimus Solutions, a comprehensive IT products and solutions provider, announces that the company has been awarded a ranking of #241 in CMP Media's 2006 VARBusiness 500. The company's ranking, up from last year’s listing of #281, is based on 2005 revenues of $92M. This marks the fifth time that Optimus Solutions has been recognized as a top technology integrator on this prestigious list.

For the first time in the six years since the dot-com bubble burst, the VARBusiness 500 rocketed to double-digit growth. The collective revenue of this exclusive list of IT solution and service providers totaled a record $378 billion in the 2006 ranking, a 13 percent increase over the previous year. The VARBusiness 500 award recognizes the top-placed firms among North America's approximately 90,000 third-party companies that help corporations and institutions best apply IT strategies and systems. Finalists were ranked according to their fiscal year 2005 revenue, based only on their reseller-related services business.

Optimus attributes its consistent growth to powerful strategic partnerships with leading technology providers, such as IBM and Cisco, which meet customers’ ever-changing IT requirements. Recent key technology company acquisitions have enhanced service offerings and a new consulting division with expanded services such as Microsoft competencies contribute to Optimus’ strong market presence.
