OPTIMUS SOLUTIONS ANNOUNCES UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS PRACTICE
Practice Integrates Communication and Collaboration Solutions
NORCROSS, Ga.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Optimus Solutions, a comprehensive technology solutions provider and value-added reseller (VAR), today announced the launch of a unified communications practice that focuses exclusively on streamlining communications and collaboration applications. The practice serves clients of all sizes throughout the Southeast, Northeast and Midwest, with plans to expand into Western markets this year.
Optimus' comprehensive unified communications platform has the ability to integrate existing and new enterprise applications, including voice, IP telephony, video, instant messaging and more. In addition, the practice leverages large partnerships with Cisco Systems, IBM and Microsoft to provide clients with hardware, software and consulting solutions. The practice services large enterprises that utilize call centers and agent and management interfaces, and works with small and mid-sized companies by integrating call centers and communications applications.
Steve McDonald, enterprise architect of strategic business solutions and co-director of the unified communications practice of Optimus Solutions, said, "We're excited about entering this rapidly growing segment of the IT market and working with our partners to provide the best possible communications and collaboration solutions to our clients. It positions us for several new opportunities and brings significant value to our clients' existing and new communications platforms.
"We've developed a very flexible, value-added solutions set that works across all unified communications and collaboration platforms," added McDonald. "The practice already has a substantial presence in the telephony integration and instant messaging space for a wide range of companies."
Frank Ball, business development manager and co-director of the unified communications practice of Optimus Solutions, said, "There are a lot of enterprises that could benefit from a platform that provides automated call distribution, integrated voice responses and computer telephony integration, but a lot of these technologies are new to clients and certain industries. At Optimus, we bridge the gap with those three technologies to help our clients streamline operations, reduce cost and increase revenue. Our strong partnerships with Cisco, IBM and Microsoft provides us an out of the box capability to help a client with their domestication and/or globalization strategies."
