Our People:

Optimus’ consultants are highly skilled and experienced in various technologies, particularly IBM and Microsoft software tools.  We focus on delivering business value and achieving solid ROI through our solutions.  Our consultants are creative problem solvers who can “think outside the box” to deal with complex situations and issues.  In addition, we maintain technical and business skills through real world experience, mentoring and quality education in order to keep up with the latest technologies.  Our consultants hold multiple IBM and Java certifications in Solution Development and system administration.  Several have held IT management positions including CIO, CRM Manager, and Solution Development Manager.

Our Methodology:

When creating new applications, having highly skilled programmers is only half the battle. Optimus Consulting’s value lies in utilizing a tested and proven approach to the entire software lifecycle. Through years of experience, we have developed a process to minimize risk and maximize return on investment. Our PET process encompasses Planning, Execution, and Transition. This process is embedded in our project management system using custom developed tools and ensures that clients are actively involved in each phase of the project from the very first day. Together, we integrate with clients to develop a valuable application that meets and exceeds requirements. Our methodology incorporates the best aspects of the IBM’s Rational Unified Process (RUP), Agile Design, and Extreme Programming (XP).
